From Mid January to till today, we were extensively shipping new features after talking to our existing customers. Very excited to share these with you all !!!
1. Separate Personas for More Realistic AI Roleplays
We saw users creating the same persona again and again, often times with minor variations. This got us thinking, we did the user interviews and came to the conclusion that its better to separate out persona. Anyway, a team will only have a set of personas, that they would want to practice against. This also gives us a nice segue for us to build multi personas in the same conversation feature - that is going to be a treat, can't wait to ship it.
2. Chat-Based Scenario Creation
To be honest, building Scenarios using the Advanced builder is a bit cumbersome and tiring. Too many levers and configuration - we hated it, and guess what so did the users. We have gone back to the drawing boards, talked to the users(thanks for sharing all the feedbacks) - and came up with something better for this.
You can now chat and create a scenario, like you do in ChatGPT
-
Describe in plain language – e.g. "Discovery call where the prospect is price-sensitive and comparing us to Gong"
-
AI suggests structure – goals, talking points, objections, and success criteria
-
Iterate in conversation – refine the scenario by chatting instead of clicking through fields
This makes it faster to spin up new AI mock roleplays (objection handling, discovery, closing) without leaving the flow of how you actually think about a call.
3. Plans: Tasks and Assignments for Teams
Practice only works when it's assigned and tracked. We've introduced Plans so managers can give their team clear tasks and assignments.
-
Assign scenarios and due dates – e.g. "Complete the 'Handling pricing objections' AI roleplay by Friday"
-
Track completion – see who's done which AI roleplays and what's pending
-
Align with team goals – tie tasks to specific skills, plays, or campaigns
Plans turn AI roleplays from "something reps can do" into "something reps are expected to do," so improvement is consistent and measurable.
We love your feedbacks - please keep them sharing, we are all ears to help you out in anyway possible. Reach out to us at hey@trysunnyside.com in case of issues or concerns.
Best,
